Please read all of the terms conditions set forth below. All Retreats are offered subject to our standard terms and conditions, set forth below. Upon making a reservation with Marriage Restoration Project, a division of Baltimore Marriage Counseling LLC, you are deemed to be accepting all “Terms and Conditions.” Please read each Retreat description to make sure that you understand the itinerary that you are undertaking.
Reservation Policy:
All retreat prices are current at the time of publication and in U.S. Dollars. To confirm your reservation, you must fill out the Retreat Registration form, pay your initial non-refundable deposit with valid credit card information and chose single or double occupancy.
If the retreat has not been cancelled by Marriage Restoration Project, Inc., the balance of the Retreat cost is due to Marriage Restoration Project thirty (30) days prior to the retreat start date and may be paid in the same manner as the initial deposit. A reminder will be sent by Marriage Restoration Project to your e-mail address on file thirty (30) days before the due date. If the balance of the retreat cost is not received by the due date, this will constitute your election to terminate your participation in the retreat and your reservation will be canceled, at which time the cancellation policy below will be fully applied to your deposit.
Deposits & Payments:
Payment terms differ based on your room selection and chosen payment plan.
Deposit Terms:
In all cases, to secure your booking, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit as specified for each retreat (to reserve your spot). The balance of the Retreat package amount is to be paid, in full, not less than 30 days prior to start of retreat, unless your time of booking is less than 30 days prior to the retreat, in which case full payment is due at the time of booking. The balance of the retreat package amount will be automatically charged to your credit card within 30 days prior to start of the chosen Retreat. The deposit option closes after a date determined by TheMarriageRestorationProject and after that window you can register and pay for the retreat in full. Our payment processor Paypal allows you to split your payment into 6 payments or pay later with 0 interest after 6 months.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal for payment. If you prefer to pay by check or bank transfer, payment must be received not less than forty-five (45) days before the start of the Retreat.
The payment for any additional items offered specific for deemed Retreat (spa, individual coaching, fitness or yoga, off-site adventures, etc.) that are purchased during your stay must be paid in full by a credit card payment prior to your departure from the retreat location.
Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel your retreat reservation, the cancellation policy outlined below will be applied. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest or personal emergencies. There is no refund or discount for arriving late or leaving a retreat early, or for not participating in any scheduled activity.
Cancellation Policy
Guest may cancel up to 31 days prior to the start date of any given retreat and be refunded in full minus the non-refundable deposit. Anything after 30th day prior to retreat start, guests may put monies towards another retreat by Marriage Restoration Project. If Marriage Restoration Project cancels a retreat, your full amount will be refunded including the non-refundable deposit within 15 days. The cancellation policy in effect includes:
MINIMUM OF 31 DAYS PRIOR TO RETREAT
Cancellation policy in effect; consumer can cancel their retreat and receive the monies they have put towards the reservation minus their non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you purchase flight cancellation insurance to protect yourself from unexpected circumstances that may cause you to cancel your retreat. Cancellation of any travel plans, airlines, etc. will be completely your responsibility.
Cancellation by Marriage Restoration Project:
Marriage Restoration Project reserves the right to cancel any Retreat at any time for any reason determined at our sole discretion, including too few participants, or if the quality of the retreat or the safety of the participants is deemed by Marriage Restoration Project to be compromised. In such a case, refund of payments received from retreat reservations shall constitute full and final settlement and release of all claims against us. In the event of cancellation, Marriage Restoration Project is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of nonrefundable or non-transferable air tickets or other unrecoverable travel costs.
Room Configurations:
Room configurations depend on the retreat location and are outlined in your individual reservation forms. Due to limited availability, room configurations are set prior to your arrival on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability depends on retreat location, time of booking and demand from other interested parties.
Package Inclusions:
All package inclusions are unique for each individual retreat and location and are outlined on each Retreat’s Information Page as well as in your reservation. Please read and approve before booking your retreat.
Travel Requirements & Conditions:
Please ensure that you have all the relevant travel documentation for your Retreat location and that you arrive at the airport on time. Marriage Restoration Project is not responsible if you lack the required documentation for your flight or for entry into another country (valid passport for the entire duration of the Retreat and return travel, visa, entry fee, etc.). However, if you are unsure of your requirements and need help, you are welcome to contact us for assistance. Retreats Unlimited cannot accept responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.
Resort Policies:
Your Retreat is held at a luxury resort, and all guests are required to follow the resort policies. These may include noise restriction, public access, care of property, privacy and consideration of other resort guests, and more. You will be made aware of these policies prior to or upon your arrival.
Responsibility of Valuables:
Upon check-in, all valuable items may be placed in your room safe, the resort safe or in another secure location. Marriage Restoration Project is not liable for any breakage, loss or theft of personal items. Please limit your valuables, as traveling with such valuables will be your complete responsibility.
Personal Safety & Insurance:
Marriage Restoration Project recommends that you obtain cancellation, travel and medical insurance prior to attending any of our Retreats. Prior to participating in any activities or using any facilities, please ensure that you are medically and physically fit and able. If you have any injuries or illnesses, please seek doctor’s advice prior to attending. Marriage Restoration Project is not liable for any injuries due to use of our facilities or participation in activities or during travel to and from the Retreat. Any injuries or medical conditions are completely your sole responsibility. By sending a deposit toward your Retreat and returning your signed Retreat Registration, you certify that you do not have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard for you or other participants during the Retreat. In other words, you certify that you are healthy and fit for any activities scheduled on the Retreat and in which you plan to participate. Furthermore, it is required that you have the proper personal and health insurance to cover your needs while present in the Retreat, in case of any loss of property, illness, injury or death.
Behavior:
Your retreat is held at a luxury resort, and all guests are required to follow the resort policies. These may include noise restriction, public access, care of property, privacy and consideration of other resort guests, and more. You will be made aware of these policies prior to or upon your arrival. Marriage Restoration Project holds the right to any guest(s) not respecting hotel polices as list above as well as inappropriate or intoxic behavior to leave the retreat immediately and forfeits the right to any reimbursement.
Copyright:
Marriage Restoration Project retains all copyright license rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website and obtained during the retreats. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way without first obtaining written permission from Marriage Restoration Project.
Liability:
Marriage Restoration Project shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy, both personal and informational. Marriage Restoration Project will keep all information that we collect from you secure, and will not provide this information to any third party providers. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of your personal information, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
By making a booking with Marriage Restoration Project for a Retreat, you accept on your behalf and all those named on the booking to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including the general release of liability and the assumption of risk, described below.
Release of Liability:
You hereby release and discharge Marriage Restoration Project a Baltimore corporation, its shareholders, directors, officers, agents and employees, from and against any and all liability, loss, cost, expense or damage arising, directly or indirectly, from the Retreat, including your participation in the retreat activities.
Assumption of Risk:
You acknowledge that you have voluntarily applied for a retreat with Marriage Restoration Project., a Maryland corporation. You understand that you may be traveling to a foreign country and that you will participate in various activities. You are prepared to assume the risks associated with this Retreat, including: forces of nature, terrorism, civil unrest, war, accidents, personal injury and similar circumstances. You also assume risks associated with illness, disease, physical exertion and alcohol consumption, knowing that access to suitable medical support may be delayed. Your hereby agree to take full responsibility for your own actions, safety and welfare, including unanticipated events, injury, illness, emotional trauma or death.
COVID 19
Marriage Restoration Project asks that all guests follow the guidelines in each hotel that we stay at; those specific policies will be sent to the guests prior to their departure. Each hotel may have a different policy; we ask that our guests follow these policies and have proper use masks /face coverings when deemed mandatory at each resort.
